Our New Car – Kia Sorento
Monday we decided it was time for a new vehicle. We have been thinking about trading in our Buick for a few months now and finally did it. It had been giving us a few problems and we didn’t trust it like we used to.
We really wanted the same style of car that we were trading in (mid-size SUV). I also really wanted to go with Ford because I respect how they didn’t accept any bailout money, but in the end we really liked the Sorento. Both the options and price were in line with what we were looking for and willing to pay.
I took a few photos of the car Today. The weather has been pretty warm and it’s hard to keep it clean, so yesterday I washed it. It didn’t take long to get it all mucked up again though. Anyway here are some photos.
A few things that the geek in me likes are:
1. Bluetooth sync – for phone and music streaming from my phone.
2. Inputs for iPod and USB devices
3. Keyless – All that’s needed is a fob. As long as it’s in your pocket you can lock/unlock the doors and start the car. The only place you can insert a key is in the drivers door (for emergency entrance) and the glove box.
Cool!
